WHAT IS AO?

AO (Attorney Online) is a multiplayer game focused on social interactions and roleplay. Built with the objective of simulating Ace Attorney-esque trials, the community quickly expanded their bounds and many other fandoms started playing the game and performing different activities there. Today, Attorney Online is, overall,  a game that has something for everyone, despite still revolving around the Ace Attorney franchise.

The main activity practiced in this game are mock trials, very similar to the ones you play in the Ace Attorney series. Here, every player is responsible for a specific role in trial, such as: Judging, prosecuting, defending, testifying, or helping the main prosecutors and defense attorneys. All evidence and testimony is stored in a document so every player can access it at any given moment. The defense must prove that their client is innocent, and finding the true culprit is often the easiest way to do that. Putting all that together, trials quickly become a battle of wits between the defense team, the witnesses and the prosecutors.

As a Defense Attorney, cross examine every witness' testimony and point the flaws with the help of evidence. Present theories, propose searches and do anything within your reach to prove your client's innocence and find the real culprit.

As a Prosecutor, choose between seeking a guilty verdict with all your guts or chasing the truth! Call witnesses, break the defense's theories and have the police's resources in your arsenal to fulfill your objective.

As a Judge, control the flow of the trial with your gavel, keep each side sharp with penalties and ensure that the real culprit will be punished accordingly during the trial.

As a Witness, take the witness stand and testify to uncover the truth or hide it even more! Improvise testimonies or use pre-written ones, control the evidence flow and deceive the other players as the killer.
